British-born conductor, hornist and teacher, David Cripps, is one of the most distinguished and experienced performing musicians and pedagogues on the scene today.  He began playing the horn at the age of fourteen and was quickly accepted into the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.  What followed was an impressive array of positions in the world's most highly acclaimed orchestras:  BBC National Orchestra of Wales; Hallé Orchestra (7 years); Philharmonia Orchestra (2 years); and the London Symphony Orchestra (10 years).  David also played Lead Horn in the Star Wars and Superman movies with the London Symphony Orchestra.

     David Cripps is now based in Flagstaff, Arizona, and is accepting professional bookings for solo and orchestral/ensemble engagements, as well as lecture/recitals.  He is a member of Local 47 (Hollywood) of the American Federation of Musicians.
